The Landscape Professionals
Several plants that were planted earlier this season are struggling. There are a lot of bare branches and black leaf tips. We have been diligent about watering. Any suggestions? Bob, Mystic
The plants are not getting enough water! Deep watering means holding hose around base of plant until it puddles around plant. Move to next plant and do the same thing. Go back to first plant and repeat. Allow water to puddle around each plant four times. This needs to be done three times per week during hot weather. The plants are definitely dry and dying.
