The Sprigs & Twigs Landscape Design Team has fie designers formally trained in Botany, Horticulture, Landscape Design and CAD with many years of experience with native plants and low maintenance garden designs. Each landscape design we create is a collaborative process with you. Each design, whether large or small, is based on your preferences, and our technical knowledge of plants, their characteristics, their full grown size and environmental needs and an artistic arrangement of colors and blooming times, form and structure. We take into account light, moisture, soil type, wind exposure, salt exposure and many other aspects to create a garden specificaly for its unique environment. Gardens we design will bloom from March to November, showing color throughout the season. We specialize in naturalistic designs that mimic Mother Nature by incorporating trees, shrubs, perennials and ground covers in their respective tiers. We choose the right plant for the right place, which helps give your garden a sense of place and reduces the over-all maintenance. We incorporate a high percentage of native plants to create natural spaces that our local birds and pollinators will enjoy and thrive. Our focus is 'Low Maintenance'. We want our customers to enjoy their new landscapes, not be a slave to them. Our landscape designs create your very own plant community - a group of plants that over time can evolve and live harmoniously with each other with a minimum of human intervention. We don't over-plant, but space all of our plants appropriately so that they can grow to full maturity without over-crowding and without needing endless pruning to make them 'fit'.
